After working for over 10 years in an office environment Angelina developed health problems that lead her to reconsider her career direction. She started to practice massage therapy over 2 years ago and has since achieved BTEC level 5 qualifications in Sports and remedial massage therapy.
During her teenage years in Germany, Angelina was a semi professional athlete practicing for more than 6 years. She was also an active dancer and dance choreographer for the Teen Sing Group (a youth movement in Germany).
Angelina’s time as an athlete taught her that regular massage treatment assists tremendously in soft tissue injury prevention and at the same time limits the re-occurrence of injuries; helping the body to respond better to physical activity as well as resulting in faster recovery time. Today she is an active practitioner of meditation, rock climbing and bikram yoga. She is also interested in transformational psychology, believing that the body should be treated as a whole and not as a separate entity, hence her body-mind approach to massage therapy.
Angelina is experienced in treating tendon, shoulder and knee injuries. She is also gaining further experience with cancer patients and IBS sufferers. Her current focus is on muscular tension release and occupational related injuries.
