Gareth Evans (Instructor)

Gareth is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who qualified in 2009 at the University of East London, and is now working toward his masters in advanced physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire.
 
Since qualifying Gareth has worked with a variety of musculoskeletal caseloads. He spent 18 months at Headley court military rehabilitation facility working with combat amputees. This contrasts his current work within the NHS which includes a large caseload of acute and chronic lower back injuries. He has also worked in private practice and in professional sport.
 
Gareth has a special Interest in rehabilitation particularly following back injury. As such has he developed a keen interest in Pilates, for its usefulness in the management of both sub-acute and chronic back pain.
 
Away from work Gareth enjoys staying active, and learning new sports. Most recently he has learnt to wake board, and is currently trying to master golf.
